Case Study: New Oil Boiler Installation in Ardleigh, Colchester
Location:Ardleigh, Colchester
Replacing a 30 Year Old Oil Boiler Before Winter
As winter approached, a homeowner in Ardleigh, near Colchester, contacted our team to discuss replacing their ageing oil heating system. The existing oil boiler had been in service for around 30 years and, while it had performed reliably over the decades, replacement parts were becoming increasingly difficult to source. The customer wanted to avoid the risk of an unexpected breakdown during the colder months and take advantage of the efficiency improvements offered by modern oil boilers.
After assessing the property and discussing the household's heating and hot water requirements, we recommended a new Worcester Bosch Greenstar Danesmoor 25/32 oil fired boiler.
The Property
The heating system serves a:
- Detached property
- 3 bedrooms
- 3 bathrooms
- Hot water cylinder
- Oil fired central heating system
Given the size of the home and the demand for hot water across multiple bathrooms, the Greenstar Danesmoor 25/32 was an ideal choice, providing reliable heating performance and efficient hot water production throughout the property.
Why the Customer Chose the Worcester Greenstar Danesmoor 25/32
The customer was looking for a boiler that would provide long term reliability while reducing running costs compared to their older system.
The Worcester Greenstar Danesmoor range is well known for its efficiency, durability and suitability for off grid properties that rely on oil heating. By upgrading to a modern condensing oil boiler, the homeowner can benefit from improved fuel efficiency, lower operating costs and greater peace of mind during the winter months.
